The Saigon Travel Service Company (Saigontourist) welcomed 2,000 foreign tourists and crew sailing aboard the cruise liner Costa Classica, which berthed at the Navi Oil port in Ho Chi Minh City on January 12.
The visitors, mostly from Italy, Spain, the UK and Germany, will visit HCM City and several other destinations in the southern region including Ben Thanh market and the Cu Chi tunnels and have the chance to enjoy local culinary specialties.
The five-star cruise ship, on its first trip to Vietnam this year, will leave HCM City and is scheduled to dock at Tien Sa port in the central coastal city of Da Nang on January 14 to tour Da Nang, Hoi An and My Son.
They will visit famous sites such as the Thien Mu Pagoda, King Minh Mang’s royal tomb, Dai Noi (the Citadel’s Inner City) in the former imperial city of Hue and Thanh Ha pottery village in central Quang Nam province./.
