The northern province of Thai Nguyen has granted an investment licence to Electro-Mechanics Vietnam Limited Company under Samsung Corporation to invest in a high-tech complex project.
The 1.23-billion-USD complex covers an area of 26.5ha in Yen Binh industrial park in Pho Yen district.
The construction of the complex will be finished by 2016 while that of workshops and production chains in the next 15 months.
At the ceremony on October 2, provincial authorities asked its departments and sectors to do all they can in removing obstacles such as land clearance and infrastructure building in order to create favourable conditions for the investor to operate as schedule.
