The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Sea Festival is taking place in Vung Tau city, featuring a multitude of activities.
The festival is to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of National Day (September 2) as well as connect the trade, tourism, and economic activities of Ba Ria-Vung Tau and other coastal localities.
Through the event, the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau has a chance to introduce its tourism achievements over the past few years and orientations towards 2030, as well as its potential in different economic sectors to domestic and foreign friends.
Within the framework of the event, there will be exhibitions, art performances, a carnival, and a workshop, among other activities.
In the first half of 2018, Ba Ria-Vung Tau welcomed approximately 6.5 million tourist arrivals and earning around US$123 million from tourism activities.-VNA
