Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on April 24 cut the ribbon to open the Vietnam Seafood Trade Fair 2010 in the Mekong city of Can Tho.
The fair, one of major activities of the first Vietnam Seafood Festival, attracts 155 enterprises, displaying products, services and technologies for aquaculture, and fishery as well as, processing, storage, transport and export of seafood.
During the event, which will last until April 27, trade and investment contracts between Vietnamese enterprises and their partners are expected to be signed.
Ten most outstanding seafood businesses, as well as five scientists, five fishermen and five farmers with valuable contributions to the development of the fisheries sector will be awarded./.
