Seoul (VNA) – The Vietnam Football Association in the Republic of Korea (VFAK) organised its second Champions League in Daejeon city on June 2.
The event was held under the auspices of the Vietnamese Embassy in the country and sponsorship of more than 10 Vietnamese and Korean firms.
According to VFAK President Doan Quang Viet, the tournament was a great success thanks to support from the embassy, local administrations, and sponsors.
As the tournament has a great impact on the football community and fans in the country, the VFAK will work to organise more competitions for Vietnamese expats, helping strengthen solidarity and build a stronger community there./.
Overseas Vietnamese join in Czech Senate-sponsored football tournament
The FC Sapa Praha team of overseas Vietnamese in the Czech Republic has become the runners-up of the annual friendly football tournament held for ethnic communities under the sponsorship of the Czech Senate.
