Shinhan Life Vietnam offers treatment fees and gifts to paediatric leukaemia patients in HCM City

Ho Chi Minh City (VNS/VNA) — Shinhan Life Vietnam has supported children undergoing leukaemia treatment by providing 150 million VND (nearly 6,100 USF) worth of medical expenses and 120 gifts to patients in the HCM City Children's Hospital in HCM City.

The donation is part of Shinhan Life Vietnam's annual community efforts, aiming to bring joy and share the difficulties of young patients at the HCM City Children's Hospital.

Shinhan Life Vietnam’s representatives visited the hospital to personally deliver gifts and financial support for 15 pediatric patients from disadvantaged backgrounds. The company also presented 120 gifts to the children who are currently treated at the hospital on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

CEO of Shinhan Life Vietnam Bae Seung Jun said: “This is the third consecutive year Shinhan Life has partnered with the HCM City Children’s Hospital. We hope to lighten the load for families whose children are undergoing treatment here.

"We trust that Shinhan Life Vietnam’s support will serve as a source of encouragement for both the children and their families as they fight to overcome these difficult challenges.”

Over the past three years, the company has provided financial aid totalling 600 million VND, helping 45 children battling leukaemia.
