Shooting star remains top in men 10m air pistol

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s shooting star Hoang Xuan Vinh remains in the top spot of the world men’s 10m air pistol October rankings of the International Shooting Sport Federation.

The 41-year-old marksman has 4034 points, well ahead of the second-placed Wu Felipe Almeida of Brazil and Pang Wei of China.

In the men’s 50m pistol event, Vinh is in second with 2613 points, behind Jin Jongoh of the Republic of Korea.

Vinh became a household name at the Olympic Games 2016 with a gold and silver medal in Brazil in August.-VNA

Photo exhibition highlights Vietnam–Israel cultural ties
