Singapore has continued to dominate the list of the 15 leading maritime capitals and cities of the world in 2019.

Hanoi (VNA) – Singaporehas continued to dominate the list of the 15 leading maritime capitals andcities of the world in 2019.

According to the Leading MaritimeCapitals of the World 2019 (LMC) report 2019 released by prestigiousNorwegian economic consultancy organisation Menon Economics, Singapore isfollowed by Hamburg of Germany, Rotterdam of the Netherlands, Hong Kong ofChina, London of the UK, and Shanghai of China.

Thereport, released at the Sea Asia Conference 2019, Singapore maintains its topplace in maritime transportation, seaports, and logistics, while keeping itsattraction and maritime competitiveness.

Meanwhile,London leads the list in finance and maritime law. At the same time, Oslo ofNorway tops in maritime technology.–VNA
