Singaporean students do voluntary work in Dong Thap

A group of girl students and more than 30 teachers from Nanyang High School in Singapore arrived in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap on November 19 for a voluntary work programme at the rural commune of Phuong Thinh.
A group of girl students and more than 30 teachers from Nanyang High School in Singapore arrived in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap on November 19 for a voluntary work programme at the rural commune of Phuong Thinh.

The volunteers will visit and give presents to poor families, donate school equipment to disadvantaged students, plant trees and help repair roads and classrooms. They will also present nine scholarships to students who are good at English.

All expenses for the programme at 83 million VND are paid for by Nanyang school./.
