Hanoi (VNA) – A 6.5-magnitudeearthquake struck Mindoro island of the Philippines on June 15, according to theGerman Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ).
Meanwhile, theUS Geological Survey (USGS) said the earthquakehad a magnitude of 6.2 and its focal depth was estimated at 125km.
The Philippine seismologyagency said it also recorded a 6.2-magnitude earthquake. It also warnedof aftershocks and possible damage.
Witnessessaid tremors could be felt in the capital city of Manila and adjacent provinces.
