Two groups of students from HCM City and Can Tho universities on July 4 received the Holcim Prize for Sustainable Development 2009.
The first prize went to the Can Tho University's project "Building a Model for Management of Packaging and Waste for Plant Protection Chemicals".
The second prize was awarded to the project "EMS ISO 14001: 2004 – Solutions for the Hotel Environment" by a group from the HCM City University of Technology.
Holcim Prize 2009 prizes amounted to 240 millionVND (14,700 USD)./.
