Hanoi (VNA) - The Michelin Guide global culinary collection will officially visit Da Nang,Vietnam's third city, with the companionship of the destination partner, SunGroup.

The journey to discover the hidden gems in the coastal city of central Vietnampromises to open a new chapter for Vietnamese cuisine as well as Vietnamesetourism.

The anonymous inspectors, known for their expertise, sophisticated palate andextensive knowledge of international cuisine, have accelerated their journeythroughout Da Nang to seek out excellent culinary addresses. Through anonymousvisits and rigorous evaluations, the inspectors ensure that only the finest andmost unique culinary experiences are recognised and honoured in Michelin's nextlist in Da Nang.

Da Nang's cuisine has a long tradition with each dish bearing a rustic charmbut still not lacking in exquisite flavours. Highlights include Banh xeo(sizzling pancakes), mi Quang (Quang Nam style flat rice noodles), banh trangcuon thit heo (rice paper rolls with pork), bun cha ca (vermicelli with grilledchopped fish), bun mam (fermented fish noodle soup), banh canh (thick noodlesoup), goi ca Nam O (Nam O raw fish salad), banh tranh Tuy Loan (Tuy Loan ricepaper), etc.

According to the Michelin Guide, inspectors were deeply impressed by Da Nang'srich culinary heritage. Inspectors greatly enjoyed the experience of sitting insmall eateries or street food stalls to indulge in delicious local dishes.

In addition to the unique street food experience, Da Nang's high-end cuisine isalso considered attractive and diverse in cooking techniques from localculinary masters and international chefs.

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors. All digitised cultural heritage will be standardised under the national data framework and shared in accordance with regulations, while 80% of public digital heritage assets are expected to receive digital identifiers to clarify ownership and management, encouraging organisations and individuals to do the same and support market development.
