Singapore (VNA) – The SupplyChain Asia Forum 2019, themed "Digitalisation of the Supply Chain World”kicked off in Singapore on September 10.
The three-day forum draws the participationof more than 1,500 experts, scholars and delegates over the world.
The supply chain tech expo brought togethermore than 40 Singaporean and global organisations to showcase some of theindustry's most exciting and innovative technologies.
Paul Lim, president of Supply Chain Asia,said the industrial landscape is set to change with more businesses makinggreater use of cutting-edge technology to drive new ways of production anddelivery via automated and robotic devices and mobile solutions to reachcustomers faster, cheaper and more efficiently than ever before.
According to him, many enterprises aremoving their production bases away from China to Vietnam, but Vietnam is facingchallenges in sea ports and skilled workers.-VNA
Singapore sets new cybersecurity rules for financial industry
All licensed financial institutions must comply with a new set of requirements by next year to raise cyber security standards and strengthen cyber resilience of the sector, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) said on August 6.
