President Nguyen Minh Triet on Mar. 29 sent a message of condolences to Russian President D. Medvedev over bomb attacks which hit two subway stations in Moscow.
The acts of terrorism, which occurred on Mar. 29, caused 65 deaths and injuries.
According to the Emergency Situations Ministry, the first blast struck the Lybyanka station at 7:56 a.m. (0356 GMT). The station is underneath the headquarters of the Russian Federal Security Service.
The second explosion occurred 45 minutes later at Park Kultury station in central Moscow .
Russian security officers said terrorists were to blame for the bombing attacks while the Interfax news agency was quoted as saying that the explosive devices were tied to suicide bombers. Russian Prosecutors have opened an investigation into the incidents.
Emergency crews are currently still at the scene of both blasts./.
