Symposium highlights essence of late President’s thoughts, morality, style

The quintessence of late President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality and style was the focus of a symposium held by the scientific council of the Tri Viet Institute at the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) on May 17.

Hanoi (VNA) – The quintessence of late President HoChi Minh’s thoughts, morality and style was the focus of a symposium held bythe scientific council of the Tri Viet Institute at the Vietnam Union ofScience and Technology Associations (VUSTA) on May 17.

The event took place ahead of the leader’s 130thbirthday (May 19).

Assoc. Prof. Dang Quoc Bao, chairman of thecouncil, said President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology is a large system of issuesrelevant to strategies and tactics of Vietnam’s revolution. It not only appliedbut also creatively developed the Marxism-Leninism in the revolutions of thecountry and the world.

The late leader’s thoughts have become a pricelessspiritual asset of all Vietnamese generations and also the lodestar leading theParty and people to successes in the revolution for national independence andsocialism, he noted.

At the discussion, presentations were made onsuch issues as the harmony of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and style, and thePresident’s thoughts on public health care, religions, culture, and massmobilisation.

Also on May 17, the Ho Chi Minh Museum’s branchin the central province of Binh Thuan opened an exhibition that spotlighted HoChi Minh’s activities at the Duc Thanh School, where he worked as a teacherbefore leaving the country to seek ways for national salvation.

On display are nearly 200 paintings and photosof the leader, along with important documents in his life and career. It alsointroduces role models in the studying and following of Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts,morality and style in Binh Thuan province./.
