Eighty-one years after the autumn of 1945, Vietnam has travelled a long road from winning independence and safeguarding sovereignty to national development and international integration. The country today is defined not only by its proud history but also by its development achievements, people and increasingly close friendship with Mexico.

A photo exhibition themed “Vietnam – Attraction and Dynamism” is underway in Mexico City, featuring a strong and beautiful nation of Vietnam.

The Embassy of Vietnam in Mexico has organised an event marking the 75th National Day (September 2), with the participation of the Vietnamese community in the country.

For over four decades, the traditional friendship and all-round cooperation between Vietnam and Mexico have been reinforced and developed in many fields from politics-diplomacy, economy-trade to culture, education and health care, stated Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Nguyen Hoai Duong.
