The Angkor Archaeological Park in Siem Reap province welcomed 4,194 foreign tourists in the first two months of this year, AKP - the national news agency of Cambodia reported on March 3.
Cambodia earned 18.45 million USD in revenue from the sale of tickets at Angkor Archaeological Park in the first nine months of 2020, a 75 percent decrease year-on-year due to impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Angkor Enterprise.
The Cambodian government has decided to extend foreigners’ stay at Angkor Archeological Park in the northern province of Siem Reap, about 300km from the capital city of Phnom Penh.
The number of foreign tourists visiting Cambodia’s famed Angkor Archeological Park dropped 7.3 percent in the first five months of 2019, a state-run Angkor Enterprise said in a press release on June 1.
