Malaysia's businesses are more pessimistic about their business condition in the third quarter of 2021 due to the severe and prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, reported Xinhua news agency.
Regulatory overlapping was the biggest problem at State-owned enterprises (SOEs) since they were handed over to the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises, officials have said.
The elimination of business conditions has helped ease burden on enterprises, but much work needs to be done to boost the effectiveness, heard a workshop in Hanoi on February 27.
The Justice Ministry must continue to review business conditions and eliminate overlapping and unnecessary regulations, said Minister and Chairman of the Office of the Government Mai Tien Dung.
The business community is among the three key groups of driving forces proposed to help achieve the economic growth goal at 6.7 percent for 2016, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
