The Royal Thai Police and its Immigration Bureau have launched an “e-Extension” system for foreigners to file for extensions to their stay in the kingdom.

Thailand’s Immigration Bureau unveiled its online visa extension (e-extension) service on November 8.

The Immigration Department under the Public Security Ministry confirmed that a British citizen named Christopher John Trinnaman born on January 21, 1978, had entered Vietnam on April 9 this year and departed on May 3.

The central and Central Highlands regions have favourable conditions to develop various types of tourism such as resort, heritage, culture, sea and island, mountain and cave exploration, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said at a conference held in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on February 16.
