Director of the hospital Lee San Kan said dozens of his best doctors aided by modern devices came to serve the healthcare programme, which was supported by the Vedan Vietnam Company (Vedan).
This charitable programme on August 7 was held for the third time by the Taiwanese-invested Vedan at a cost of nearly 2 billion VND (94,000 USD).
Apart from offering health advices, Taiwanese medical workers shared their expertise with their local colleagues.
The Vedan Vietnam Company has so far donated over 4 billion VND (188,000 USD) for building houses for disadvantaged locals, supporting those living with Agent Orange/dioxin and presenting scholarships to needy pupils.
Last month, a similar programme held in the province with the participation of Taiwanese doctors from the Chang Geng Hospital and local physicians benefited more than 1,000 residents. VNA
