Taiwanese tourism group visits Vietnam

A delegation of 20 tourism businesspeople and 15 reporters from Taiwan (China) is paying a visit to Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces on June 17-19 to learn about investment climate and tourism in Vietnam.
A delegation of 20 tourism businesspeople and 15 reporters from Taiwan (China) is paying a visit to Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces on June 17-19 to learn about investment climate and tourism in Vietnam.

The delegation is scheduled to visit well-known tourist sports in the city and meet with Taiwan businesses operating in Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces.

Foreign guests will also meet with senior officials of the provinces as well as managers of local industrial parks and export processing zones.

According to the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, HCM city welcomed over 231,000 tourists from Taiwan last year. In the first five months of this year, 103,209 Taiwanese visited the city, 10 percent higher than the same period last year.-VNA
