Hanoi (VNA) – Dairy producer TH Group has presented one million glasses ofmilk to doctors, officials and people in COVID-19 concentrated quarantinecentres nationwide.

Thegift was handed over to Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the VietnamFatherland Front Central Committee, at a ceremony in Hanoi on March 10.

Speakingat the event, Anh attributed Vietnam’s initial results in the fight against theacute respiratory disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) to joint efforts ofthe entire society.

Shealso lauded contributions of businesses like TH Group to the combat, and calledon them to provide more support in this regard.

Atotal of 34 cases of COVID-19 infection had been reported in Vietnam as of lateMarch 10, of them 16 were discharged from hospital after their completerecovery./.

Two wanted for abusing religious cover to undermine national unity policy

The fugitives are Di (also known as Siu Di), born in 1941, and Dinh Yum (also known as Dinh Jum or Ba Koih), born in 1963, from Ba Na ethnic minority group in Gia Lai province, and hold Vietnamese nationality. They have been charged under Clause 1, Article 116 of the Penal Code for undermining the national unity policy.
