Associate Prof., Dr. Do Thi Ha, from the National Institute of Medicinal Materials under the Ministry of Health, said Vietnam boasts diverse medicinal herbs with over 5,000 precious plants.

With 54 ethnic groups, Vietnam has the potential to improve the value of medicinal herbs domestically and abroad, she said, noting that the value of herbal health products should be tapped in a safe and scientific manner.

Associate Prof., Dr. Nguyen Duy Thuan, former Director of the Vietnam University of Traditional Medicine, noted that Vietnam is one of the 15 countries listed on the world’s medicinal herb map thanks to its endemic medicinal plants and long-standing traditional medicine.

Thai Huong, founder of TH Group, affirmed that TH products are not designed to purely make money. TH Group persistently pursues the purposes of protecting public health and preserving nature.

Since 2013, the group has preserved, harvested and grown herbal plants as well as fruit trees used to produce beverages and health foods.
