Thailand's leading hydraulic component producer, T.M.C. Industry Public Company Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Laos’ top construction firm, SV Construction Company Limited, under which both sides will jointly establish a factory producing hydraulic machinery in Vientiane.
A representative of the Thai company said that the joint investment involves the construction of a 5.72 million THB factory that will assemble and provide various services related to industrial hydraulic parts.
The factory will also provide other services such as gas and electronics lathing, construction materials and tools business.
The T.M.C. representative expressed his belief that the signing of the MoU was made at an opportune time when Laos is developing its infrastructure to cope with economic expansion under the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015.-VNA
