Thailand: Agri-Tech Innovation Forum 2018 held
Thailand's Ministry of Commerce has cooperated with the Thailand Research Fund to host "Agri-Tech Innovation Forum 2018" in support of agricultural research and innovation.
Illustrative image (Source: Internet)Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Thailand's Ministry of Commerce has cooperated with the Thailand Research Fund (TRF) to host "Agri-Tech Innovation Forum 2018" in support of agricultural research and innovation.
The event presented over 100 findings in the field of agriculture, such as innovations in low-sugar rice and vegetable-based rice seasoning. It also featured networking activities, business consultations and seminars on global agricultural trends and on how to commercialise research.
Deputy Director-General of the Department of Foreign Trade, Keerati Rushchano, announced that the Ministry of Commerce and TRF signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint committee.
The committee will develop a central database for agricultural research. The database will also serve as a platform to connect businesses, investors and academics to enable analysis of market trends and demands. - NNT/VNA
