Thailand business expands market in Vietnam

The Siam Cement Group (SCG) of Thailand said it is promoting its investment and distribution of building materials in Vietnam.

At present, the Group is operating 12 companies in Vietnam with atotal investment of over 320 million USD, creating jobs for more than1,500 workers.

Its well-known products in Vietnamincluding coloured tiles, ceilings and bathroom accessories brandedCotto are expected to help the company to gross 12.8 million USD thisyear.

Additionally, the Group also promotes theinvestment in building the Long Son Petrochemical Complex with a totalinvestment of more than 4 billion USD in the southern province of Ba Ria– Vung Tau./.
