Thailand introduces 100 THB tourism package

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) along with the private sector is organising a tourism exhibition that offers a cheap promotional package tour costing only 100 THB for weekend trips.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) along with the private sector is organising a tourism exhibition that offers a cheap promotional package tour costing only 100 THB for weekend trips.

TAT launched the “An unordinary, ordinary day” 2014 campaign under the concept of one price for all weekdays. The campaign hopes to boost domestic tourism and is catered for business owners, elderly people, and office workers who spend their vacation with their families on weekdays.

An organised event will be held from May 15-18 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre where business operators of hotels, resorts, golf courses, airlines, and tourism attraction will provide promotional tourism packages ranging from 1,000 THB to 4,000 THB.

Other tourist activities include packages for diving and golfing, as well as sales of low-priced products. Over 200,000 people are expected to attend the event and generate over 300 million THB in revenue.-VNA
