Nong Khai (VNA/NNT) - Public health authorities in Thailand's Nong Khai and Laos's Vientiane have discussed a joint measure to regulate the import and export of health products and supplements in shared border areas.
Deputy head of Nong Khai Provincial Public Health Office Rachen Pichetpan and his Vientiane counterpart Ampoy Sihawong co-chaired the project implemented between Nong Khai and Vientiane.
The Ministry of Public Health is implementing the strategic plan to control the import of food and drugs through customs checkpoints as a single window connecting the relevant agencies together, and promoting the development of testing mechanisms with the neighbouring countries.
