Three people were killed and 14 wounded in a motorcycle bomb attack in southern Thailand, local authorities said on September 18.
According to local police, the bombing happened on September 17 near a grocery in Rangae district, the southern province of Narathiwat, which borders Malaysia.
An army official and two civilians were killed in the attack as a series of other bombs also went off in the area.
Investigations are being carried out to find out how the bomb was taken and who was behind the attack.
Since 2004, more than 6,400 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the country’s Muslim-majority southern provinces where insurgents are fighting for greater autonomy.-VNA
