Thailand’s Beri Juker Public Co. Ltd. (BJC) has signed a deal to buy German’s Metro AG’s cash-and-carry unit in Vietnam for 655 million EUR.
Under the agreement, the Thai giant will cover the Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam’s business operation with 19 distribution centres across the country.
The acquisition marks the Thai giant’s expansion to Vietnam in the trade area.
BJC is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand with a market capitalisation of 88 billion THB (2 billion EUR ).
