Thang Long-Hanoi history introduced in France

The seminar, organised by theFrench School of the Far East (EFEO), drew the participation ofmany French historians, Vietnamese study experts and Vietnamese peoplein France .

At the event, Prof. Le, a member ofthe Academie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres (AIBL) ( Academy ofInscriptions and Beautiful Literature) presented the results ofarchaeological excavations that have been conducted since 2002,highlighting the uniqueness of the architecture and decoration of theThang Long Citadel.

During his working visit toFrance , Prof. Le will also deliver have a lecture on the ruralsociety and history of Vietnam through periods at the Institute ofFrance .

In July 2011, Prof. Le was elected as aforeign correspondent member of the Academie des Inscriptions etBelles-Lettres (AIBL), one of the five prestigious academies of theInstitute of France ./.
