Vietnamese football fans made a long queue to buy tickets for the friendly game between Arsenal and the Vietnamese national football team at My Dinh stadium on July 7.
Between 10,000 and 15,000 tickets were offered to the public at four counters at the stadium where the game will take place on July 17.
According to the organizers, a total 36,390 tickets are issued, including 12,000 tickets with the face value of 400,000 VND (20 USD), 7,000 tickets of 700,000 VND (35 USD), 11,000 tickets of 1 million VND (50 USD) and 6,000 tickets of 1.5 million VND (70 USD).
The tickets were sold through official dispatches of organisations, at the Vietnam Football Federation headquarters, at My Dinh stadium, and through number 1080. The revenue from tickets is estimated at nearly 30 billion VND (1.5 million USD).

Arsenal will arrive in Hanoi on July 15 and hold a press conference on the same day. Organisers have also planned meeting between the players, manager Arsene Wenger and Vietnamese fans.

Vietnam’s coach Hoang Xuan Phuc has also called up his best players for the friendly, including many veterans who helped Vietnam win the Southeast Asia football championships in 2008.-VNA
