Top legislator extends congratulations to Spain on National Day

Hanoi (VNA) – National Assembly ChairmanVuong Dinh Hue on October 12 extended his greetings to Spanish parliamentary leaders onthe occasion of the European country’s National Day (October 12).

The congratulatory messages were sent to Spain’s Presidentof the Senate Ander Gil, and President of the Congress of Deputies MeritxellBatet.

In the messages, Hue expressed his delight at the fruitfuldevelopment of the Vietnam-Spain strategic partnership towards the future and the ties between the two countries' legislative bodies, sayinghe believes that with the warm feeling and support of the Spanish legislative leaders,the relations between the two countries as well as their legislatures will be further consolidatedand strongly developed.

Vietnam and Spain established diplomatic ties on May23, 1977, and set up the strategic partnership towards the future in 2009./.
