Top Vietnamese products in Cambodian trade fair

This is the second consecutive year that Ho Chi Minh City People’sCommittee has liaised with the Cambodian and Vietnamese trade ministriesto host such an event in Battambang province.

Whenaddressing the four-day event’s opening ceremony, the Mayor ofBattambang Province, Prach Chann welcomed the Vietnamese companiesparticipating in the fair and called on Vietnamese businesses to investmore in the province’s industry, agriculture, processing and servicessectors.

More than 70 Vietnamese businesses are showcasingagricultural products, interior decorations, processed foods, footwear,cosmetics, electronics and electrical products, construction materialsand mechanical engineering at more than 100 stands.

Vietnam has about 1.2 million hectares of fruit-growing areas, producing around 13 million tonnes a year. Its fruits are exported to more than 60 countries, including major markets such as the US, the EU, Japan, the Republic of Korea and China. Vietnam, RoK seek to expand trade cooperation

The Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Department of Foreign Markets said Korean companies showed strong interest in Vietnam International Sourcing (VIS 2026), covering food, logistics, digital technology, mechanics, shipbuilding, seafood and distribution.
