Delegates noted that Vietnam and Uzbekistan still hold considerable potential for cooperation in agriculture, agro-processing, light industry, automobile manufacturing, transport, logistics, construction, tourism and culture.
The two sides discussed measures to promote cooperation in economy, trade, and investment, as well as coordination within regional and global frameworks such as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
The potential for agro-trade is significant though current agricultural trade stands at under 50 million USD, accounting for a small share of the total bilateral trade of more than 500 million USD, says Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam.

Vietnam’s main exports to Tunisia included footwear, raw coffee, pepper, cashew nuts, seafood, and machinery, while Vietnam imported seafood, dates, chemicals, and animal feed materials from Tunisia.
The new air routes play a key role in strengthening connectivity between Vietnam and China, especially as 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations, and the Year of China-Vietnam Humanistic Exchange. They represent an important step forward in fostering aviation cooperation between the two countries, while also providing favourable opportunities for tourism development, trade cooperation, and cultural exchanges between their cities.
