Footwear designers nationwide are attending a six-day course in Hanoi on innovative design methods to successfully develop collections, paving the way for brand promotion.

The course, starting from Nov. 16, is being jointly held by the Multilateral Trade Assistance Project, the third phase (EU-Vietnam Mutrap III), the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association and the Footwear Components Manufacturers Association of Italy’s Toscana region.

During the course, the participants will be provided with knowledge and basic skills on footwear design, focusing on aesthetic and technological areas as well as methods to choose the most suitable design models and accessories in accordance with product, price, and the consumer market.

They will also have a chance to be updated with information about fashion trends and given advice on the way to complete a prototype and undertake marketing.

Participants will have fact-finding tours of several footwear factories and work with international experts./.
