
Hanoi (VNA)– The US's White House has said its President Donald Trump and leader of theDemocratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un will hold a “jointagreement signing ceremony” at the end of the summit in Hanoi on February 28.
It said on February 27 that President Trump will beginthe second day of the summit with a 45-minute one-on-one meeting with Kim. He willhold a news conference following talks with the DPRK leader at 3:50pm (Hanoitime) on the day.
On February 27 evening, the US President tweeted thathe had “great meetings” and “very good dialogue” with leader Kim.
On February 25, thePresidential Residence (Blue House) of the Republic of Korea said the twoleaders could reach a deal on declaring an end to the Korean War at theirsecond summit in Hanoi. Its spokesman Kim Eui-kyeom said he thought even just an end-of-war declarationby the DPRK and the US alone would be enough.-VNA
