US organisation offers free surgeries to poor arthritic patients

The US’ Operation Walk organisation on Sept. 8 successfully conducted surgeries for four arthritic patients in the Central Military Hospital 108 of Vietnam.
The US’ Operation Walk organisation on Sept. 8 successfully conducted surgeries for four arthritic patients in the Central Military Hospital 108 of Vietnam.

The four patients are among 86 poor people to benefit from the organisation’s joint scheme with Hospital 108 on free check-ups and surgeries.

All the costs for artificial joints, medicines and rehabilitation equipment will be covered by the US organisation.

US doctors and medical technicians will also transfer the most advanced techniques in the field to their Vietnamese colleagues./.
