Da Nang (VNA) – Former US women’s national team footballer Linda Hamilton, whowon the World Cup in 1991, and coach Lisa Berg had a training session withVietnamese female footballers as part of the Sports Envoy programme in Da Nangon April 25.

Twenty-fivestudents of the Da Nang University of Physical Education And Sports’s footballfaculty received training from the US envoys on playing and organising sportevents.

The sportprogramme was rounded off in the central city with a football festival for 100pupils of Da Nang’s SOS Children's Village and Nguyen Dinh Chieu school forvisually impaired students.

The SportsEnvoy programme is a global sports mentoring programme of the US Department ofState. It mobilises professional athletes, coaches and administrators in arange of sports to engage underserved youth, particularly girls.-VNA

Project on digital transformation in cultural sector approved

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors. All digitised cultural heritage will be standardised under the national data framework and shared in accordance with regulations, while 80% of public digital heritage assets are expected to receive digital identifiers to clarify ownership and management, encouraging organisations and individuals to do the same and support market development.
