Tourists from the US are the biggest spenders in Vietnam, followed by those from the Republic of Korean and Australia, according to the Vietnam Tourist Outlook by Visa International.
Foreign visitors to the country spent almost 776.4 million USD in 2012, up 12.3 percent from the previous year.
Of the amount, US tourists made up the largest part with nearly 100 million USD, followed by visitors from the Republic of Korea and Australia with 82.6 million USD and 82.1 million USD, respectively.
Japanese, French, British, Singaporean, Russian, Canadian and German tourists were also among the list of the top ten spenders.-VNA
