Receiving Ambassador Jutta Frasch in Hanoi on April 4, Chairman Nhan also spoke highly of the active role by the diplomat in developing the bilateral relations in various fields over the recent past, and affirmed the front will do all it can to further facilitate the development.

He praised Germany’s selection of Ho Chi Minh City as the venue to host the 14th German business conference for Asia and the Pacific in November this year, describing it as a major economic event that helps continue to boost trade and investment between the two countries.

The chairman told his guest that Vietnam supports and facilitates the Germany’s project of building a German house and another to build the Vietnam-Germany University, both in Ho Chi Minh City.

For her part, Ambassador Frasch expressed her joy at the fine development of the bilateral relations in various fields, and said she hopes the two sides will continue boosting relations in such fields as economics-trade, investment, and development cooperation in education and training.-VNA
