Hanoi (VNA) – The second Vietbuild 2015 International Exhibition opened in Hanoi on November 11 with the theme of “Real Estate – Interior & Exterior Decoration and Building Materials.”
The event, which will run through November 15, attracted the participation of 400 companies who display their products and solutions at 1,260 booths.
Nguyen Tran Nam, Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Association, said the increase in inflows of capital into the property sector and successful transactions have proved the sustainable and long-term development of the market.
This is also a catalyst for the development of other relevant sectors such as building materials, interior and exterior products, said Nam.
Le Quang Hung, Deputy Minister of Construction, affirmed many projects and scientific studies have been put into production and construction and Vietbuild has contributed to promoting trade, investment, technology transfer and international integration.
The realty market in Vietnam witnessed strong foreign capital inflows in both direct and indirect investments from the beginning of this year when the market was recovering after years of being in limbo.
Statistics from the Ministry of Planning and Investment showed that foreign investors have poured a total of 2 billion USD in FDI into the real estate sector in the country so far this year.-VNA
