Addressingthe opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh said thatthe real estate market plays a very important role as it affects manyindustries, including construction materials, and interior and exteriordecoration.
The exhibitionoffers a platform for businesses to seek cooperation opportunities, as wellas gain a better understanding about relevant policies, he noted.
ViceChairman of the municipal People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan said the exhibitioncontributes to promoting the supply-demand connection, supporting productionand business activities, and enhancing partnerships between domesticand foreign enterprises.
He emphasisedthe importance of the construction industry for the capital city’s industrialisation,modernisation and economic growth, saying that many key tasks have beenimplemented, including concertedly developing transport and housing infrastructure.
The cityis determined to speed up key projects related to transport infrastructure, andindustrial parks to better serve the demand of the people, he went on.
Withinthe framework of the five-day event, a seminar on low emission construction materialsand housing construction, a business forum will be organised./.
