Vietjet continues to accompany the Miss Vietnam beauty pageant for the fifth time as the air transportation sponsor of the contest, with the southern preliminary round of Miss Vietnam 2020 officially held on September 26, at HDBank Tower - Ho Chi Minh City.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietjet continues toaccompany the Miss Vietnam beauty pageant for the fifth time as the airtransportation sponsor of the contest, with the southern preliminary round ofMiss Vietnam 2020 officially held on September 26, at HDBank Tower - Ho ChiMinh City.

This also marks the milestone ofnearly a decade that the new-age carrier Vietjet going with the mostlong-standing and prestigious beauty contest of Vietnam, just like the specialtheme of this year "Decade of beauties".

Beauties from all regions ofVietnam will fly with the new-age airline during the journeys of the contest.The winner of Miss Vietnam 2020 will be invited to participate in specialcultural and artistic events on Vietjet's modern aircraft and awarded one yearof free flights with Vietjet's SkyBoss fare type.

Private sector's development key to Vietnam’s economic growth

Currently, the private economic sector comprises over 6.1 million business establishments, including approximately 940,000 registered enterprises and over 5.2 million household businesses. The sector contributes around 50% of the country’s GDP, accounts for over 56% of total social investment, employs approximately 82% of the workforce, and generates around 30% of state budget revenue and more than 30% of total import-export turnover.

Vietnam – US economic ties strengthened with multiple agreements

PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PetroVietnam PV Gas) signed Memoranda of Understanding with ConocoPhillips, an independent exploration and production company, and Excelerate Energy regarding long-term liquefied natural gas (LNG) purchase agreements.
