Vietnam Airlines aircraft (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam Airlines said it haschanged the schedule of several flights between Vietnamese localities and theRepublic of Korea’s Seoul and Busan cities on September 6 and 7 to ensuresafety due to impact of Typhoon Lingling.
Accordingly, flights coded VN416 and VN408 from Hanoi and HoChi Minh City to Seoul will depart 30 minutes earlier on September 6. A similartimetable adjustment is also applied to flight VN430 between Da Nang and Seoulon September 7.
On September 7, the national flag carrier also delaysdeparture time by between 6 and 9 hours with flights coded VN426, VN427, VN422,VN423 from Hanoi and HCM City to Busan; and by 8 hours with flights codedVN414, VN415, VN404, and VN405 between the two Vietnamese cities and Seoul.
Meanwhile, flights VN436 and VN437 between Da Nang and Busanon the same day will be cancelled.
Affected passengers will be supported to switch to otherflights if requested. Those booked the cancelled flights will have their tripsrebooked free-of-charge to connecting flights that transit in Hanoi and HCMCity.
