Vietnam Airlines offers extra flights during holiday

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced plans to increase its flights to meet the expected rise in demand from passengers during the Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day.
The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced plans toincrease its flights to meet the expected rise in demand from passengersduring the Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day.

The carrier has scheduled an extra 434 flights, equivalent to 57,900seats per day on both domestic and international routes, up 22 percentcompared to normal days and 5 percent year-on-year.

Among 391 additional departures on domestic routes, there will be 87flights between Hanoi and Da Nang city, 75 from HCM City to DaNang and 18 from northern Hai Phong city to Da Nang for thecentral city’s Sixth International Fireworks Competition taking placefrom April 29–30.

The numbers of flights connectingHanoi and HCM City to Phu Quoc Island , Da Lat city in LamDong province, Pleiku city in Gia Lai province, Nha Trang city in KhanhHoa province have also increased.

Oninternational routes, Vietnam Airlines will offer an extra 43 flightsfrom Hanoi and HCM City to Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong.-VNA
