National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines announced on November 6 that it will open two new routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi with China’s Shenzhen.(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines announced onNovember 6 that it will open two new routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City andHanoi with China’s Shenzhen on November 27 and 28, respectively to meetincreasing travel demand.
The carrier will run three flights on the Ho Chi Minh City –Shenzhen route aweek using Airbus A321. Flights will take off from the southern hub at 22:45 onMondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, and the Chinese locality at 3:35 on Tuesdays,Thursdays and Saturdays.
Meanwhile, there will be four round trips on theHanoi-Shenzhen route. Flights will depart from Noi Bai International Airport at23:55 every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and Shenzhen InternationalAirport at 3:35 every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
These are the 15th and 16th routes of the airline toChina.
On the occasion, Vietnam Airlines launches a promotional programme, offering discounttwo-way airfares starting from 145 USD (including taxes and fees) for Ho ChiMinh City – Shenzhen flight, and 155 USD for Hanoi-Shenzhen journey.
