(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Noi Bai Cargo Terminal Services (NCTS) JSC and VietnamAirport Ground Services (VIAGS) Co., Ltd, both national flag carrier VietnamAirlines’ subsidiaries, received awards from Singapore Airlines for their excellentservice for Singapore Airlines’ flights to and from Noi Bai InternationalAirport.
Among companies that service Singapore Airlines flights, NCTS was ranked secondin catering service quality while VIAGS was granted best service quality fromthe airline. The awards were based on assessments from Singapore Airlines’passengers from April 2016 to March 2017.
The two companies currently service seven round trip flights of SingaporeAirlines to and from Hanoi per week.
The NCTS provides services for 23 airlines and aims to become a leading servicesupplier in Southeast Asia. The company was also praised by the Qatar CivilAviation Authority and other partners for its quality service.
VIAGS is Vietnam’s first business that offers comprehensive ground servicesmeeting international standards at Noi Bai International Airport, Da NangInternational Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
The Vietnamese ground handler has completed the first stages of assessment toreceive the International Air Transport Association safety audit for GroundOperations certification.
The international air transport rating organisation Skytrax recently placedVietnam Airlines 14th among 20 carriers offering the world’s bestpremium economy class experience.-VNA
