Vietnam-Algeria inter-governmental committee to meet in October

Algiers (VNA) – Algerian Minister ofPharmaceutical Industry Ali Aoun and Vietnamese Ambassador Tran Quoc Khanh onSeptember 20 looked into preparations for the 12th meeting of theVietnam-Algeria inter-governmental committee and a business forum, slated forOctober in Hanoi.

At their meeting in Algiers, the two sides focusedon mechanisms to ensure the success of the upcoming events, with garment-textile,and pharmaceutical production identified as priority cooperation areas.

Both expressed their readiness and determination tocreate new momentum for the bilateral collaboration by promoting trade ties andbuilding partnerships in industry.

According to data of the General Department ofVietnam Customs, in the first five months of 2023, two-way trade reached about116 million USD, up more than 80% year-on-year./.

Vietnam, China sign 32 cooperation documents

The documents include a cooperation plan between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) for the 2026–2030 period; a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Organisation Commission of the CPV Central Committee and its Chinese counterpart; and a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee.
