The business forum ForoEMpresarial Vietnam –Argentina was held recently in Buenos Aires. It is aimed to promote and diversify trade relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The event is a chance for Vietnamese businesses to take advantage of the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Argentina to lift two-way trade, which topped 3 billion USD in 2017, while expanding to other Latin American countries.

Argentina is the third biggest economy in Latin America, but only the 49th largest export market of Vietnam.

At the event, Ambassador to Argentina Dang Xuan Dung said Argentina is a demanding market for foreign goods and Vietnamese goods in particular. However with efforts of the two sides, bilateral trade can be increased.

Vietnamese enterprises at the event introduced products such as furniture, handicraft products, seafood, processed food, beverages, fruits, cattle-feed and pharmaceuticals and received a warm response from Argentinian partners./.
